2.5 Carat Lab-Grown Diamond Oval Ring, Platinum

A statement of pure light. A 2.50 carat lab-grown diamond — D color, VVS2 clarity — held in a four-prong basket above a hand-set pavé band, all in solid platinum.

D is the highest color grade a diamond can receive: absolutely colorless, with nothing to dull the light passing through it. VVS2 clarity means any inclusion is difficult to find even under 10x magnification. Polish and symmetry are both graded Excellent, and at 10.92 mm long the oval spreads generously across the finger — it wears larger than its weight.

The stone is a Type IIa diamond, the chemically purest category of diamond there is. It is laser-inscribed on the girdle with its IGI report number, so its identity can be confirmed at any time.

Platinum, stamped Pt950, is the most enduring of the precious metals: dense, hypoallergenic, and naturally white, so the stone never borrows warmth from its setting.
